to buy or not to buy?

in the processing of bidding for a condo. there are a lot of pros and cons to purchase. here are some:

pros:

• good location
• its garden style apartments – my ideal
• great time to buy and can close in time for to move in when my lease ends
• affordable and within my price range
• relatively new apartments (2000)
• apartments in this complex sell fast and i could potentially sell in 3 years and make some money back
• my future roommate is ok with the place and agreed to commit to at least a year

cons:

• technically is a 1 bed 1 bath + den (but they listed as a second bedroom)
• 1 BATHROOM. enough said ( i was pretty set on a 2bed2bath)
• 2nd bedroom (den) is sort of small and closet is tiny
• only 1 parking spot (have to pay for the additional spot)
• will need to put in new floors and update kitchen and bathroom
• job security not so secure. am currently projectless :(
• financial burden (would mean being way more frugal than I currently am) and what if i don’t stay here long term
• not within walking distance to a metro (but there is a shuttle)

there are of course a few more but i essentially am guaranteed to win the bid for the condo if i add 2K more. hmmm. definitely need to pray more. turnaround time is just too fast. am i mature enough to be owning my own property?!

my new baby!!! - it's coming soon... i saw this phone advertised in china and really wanted and now i'm gonna get it ....i'm soo excited.. heheee

I might return this baby!!! It's not worth it.. It's hard to navigate with it ( i went to the verizon store during lunch today and played with it).. cuz it's uber sensitive to touch >___________< my current one is just fine.. might be a bit boring and with less functions but i can call ppl and that's all I need a cellie for right?! IT's ALSO not as cute as the ads make it appear >.< VERIZON NEEDS BETTER LOOKING phones!

Yesterday at Bible study, God showed me that I have not been a very good steward with HIS money. We studied the parable of the talents and it reminded me that the money I'm making is NOT mine, it's His. I mean I knew this all along but my actions have not portrayed that knowledge one bit. I've been buying stuff left and right … a lot of stuff that I can do just fine without. So going to the VZW store confirms that I really didn't need this phone just like I don't need half the stuff I've bought this summer. It's settled. I am returning this baby when I get it.

Yay for people who've updated on their OEX experience, I know you are waiting to hear mine …it is way overdue.. i know.. but don't fret, it's coming soon. (it's like 2 months late )  I'm trying to fine tune it more so it's not just a super long blog of day to day activities/random thoughts but more insightful... okiess back to work
